Refund & Returns Policy – The Barking Barley
If you need to return or exchange something from The Barking Barley, we’re here to help!
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if more than 30 days have passed, we’re unable to offer a full refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unused and in the same condition it was received
- Include all original packaging
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Certain items are not eligible for returns:
- Perishable items (including food, beverages, and treats)
- Gift cards
- Downloadable or digital items
- Certain health or personal care products
We also cannot accept returns on items that are hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases.
Proof of Purchase
A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Please do not send any items back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds May Be Issued For:
- Items with signs of use
- Items not in original condition
- Items missing parts not due to our error
- Returns requested more than 30 days after delivery
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm approval or denial.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original method of payment.
Missing or Delayed Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company
- Check with your bank—processing can take time

Sale Items
Sale or discounted items are not eligible for refunds.
Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective or damaged.
To request an exchange for the same item, email [email protected] and mail your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped to you, you’ll receive store credit once the return is processed.
If it wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Shipping Returns
To return an item, mail it to:

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping may be deducted.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance for higher-value returns. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
