No dog required. Pull up a barstool, grab a locally crafted beer or cider, and dig into one of our legendary signature dogs. This is your new go-to hangout in Fredericksburg — whether you've got a four-legged plus-one or not.

Bring Your Dog

Dogs drink free. Owners do not. Grab a pint, head inside or out to the off-leash park, and let your pup run wild while you relax. A $15 day pass gets your dog into the park — no membership needed.

We’re a dog-friendly taphouse and bar in the heart of Fredericksburg — and the only place in town where you can crack open a cold one while your dog makes new best friends.

Whether you’re stopping in solo for a beer and a bite, meeting friends for a night out, or bringing the whole family (the furry ones too), The Barking Barley was built for exactly this kind of moment. Local craft beers on tap, signature hot dogs that will get your tail wagging, and an off-leash park on site for the four-legged regulars.

The Walker – Dog with brown mustard, sauerkraut, and pickled onions.

The Riley – Dog with chili, nacho cheese, jalapenos, fritos. 

The Rosie – Dog with nacho cheese, bacon crumbles. 

The Stevie – Dog with brown mustard, pickled onions, jalapenos.

The Weller – Dog with bacon crumbles, pickled onions, guacamole

The Pup – Just a dog with ketchup or mustard.
