Fredericksburg is one of the most dog-friendly cities around, and once a year we throw the whole town a party to prove it. The Dog Days of Summer is back at The Barking Barley, and the pack is invited.

Spend the day with us as the park fills up with local vendors, rescues, and shelters, plus games, prizes, and a whole lot of happy tails. Meet adoptable pups looking for their forever couch, shop from makers who love dogs as much as you do, and let the kids and the four-leggeds run loose in the off-leash park while you grab a cold craft beer and a hot dog in the shade.

It’s the kind of day this city was built for: good beer, great dogs, and a community that shows up for both. Bring the family, bring the floof, bring your appetite.

Free to attend, all ages, and as dog-friendly as it gets.
